Tim Mrozowski A.I.A., LEED® AP BDC, is a practicing architect, Professor and Program Leader of Construction Management, in the School of Planning, Design and Construction at Michigan State University. Tim Mrozowski conducts research on sustainability, application of LEED® to design and construction, energy codes, energy audits, energy modeling, energy assessment, and construction project management.
Since 2003, he has directed and conducted training for the Michigan Energy Code Training and Implementation Project (MECTIP), which has been funded by DTE Energy, Consumers Energy, the U.S. DOE, the Pacific North West National Laboratory, the Michigan Public Service Commission, the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, the Michigan Bureau of Energy Systems, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. To date, MECTIP has developed 18 curricula and conducted more than 125 energy code and compliance training programs with more than 6,000 industry participants.
