Building Matters: Heat is Neat!

Building Matters is back for the last workshop of 2016, and now that it's finally turned chilly, let's talk about - heat!  We'll discuss how humans have historically heated our selves and our buildings, where we are now, what future technologies might hold, and include some examples from our own area while we're at it.   We'll explore the history, science, technology, and feeling of heat, as well as how this basic building function has, often literally, shaped our built environment.

This event is expected to be submitted for continuing education credit for interested AIA members.

Jessica Letaw is continuing her workshop series called Building Matters at the downtown AADL; this one is on building heating.

Location: Downtown Library: Secret Lab
