Our chapter is hosting a Design Charrette in conjunction with our 50th Anniversary celebrations, and we need as much participation as possible from our members and chapter leadership. Details are listed below. Please RSVP as soon as possible, and recruit folks from your offices to join us as well!

What: "50 Ideas for the Future" Design Charrette

Details: Multiple teams of Architects, AIAS students, and community members are gathering to create a series of design proposals for the downtown corner of 4th Ave and Catherine St. by the Farmer's Market, using publicly submitted program suggestions as a starting point. This quick exercise will serve to summarize community input into coherent design possibilities

When: Saturday, October 25th, 2014, 9am-1pm

Where: Hobbs + Black Architects, 100 N State St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104

Who: You, your co-workers, your creative friends, any and everyone that can come!

Why: Breakfast & lunch provided! This is chance to participate in a quick, creative project, and is a great networking opportunity as well. All work will be on display as part of the 50+50+50 Celebration of Architecture. (see attached flyer)

What to bring:Any personal design materials/laptops you may wish to utilize. All basic design materials, trace paper, pens/markers, etc. will be provided.
